Dinner prep

While mama and daddy were getting dinner ready, Avery was playing teacher reading to Thomas. He hung on her every  word. Of note, she also put the stool behind him so he wouldn't fall over (which he doesn't do anymore, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that he didn't need it). 

Science Fair

Avery's class had a science fair where they made tornados in water bottles, melted holes in ice with rock salt, viewed fossils with magnifying glasses and more. We had so much fun that we decided to have some experiments at home with dry ice.

Aquarium adventures

Avery and her very first friend, Stella, had so much fun at the aquarium - learning about sharks, touching creatures, trying on scuba stuff and if course visiting the super cute seals and otters. 

Super Bowl, super fun

What to do while daddy is at the Super Bowl?

Bacon for breakfast, nature walk in the rain to find snails and the library, of course.

Half birthday

Thomas turned 6-months-old this month. Time flies when you are having fun! He is sitting up by himself, rolling, chirping and putting everything he can in his mouth. Eating is his new favorite activity. He dives face -first into the spoon and just today broke his first tooth.
