Bear [suit] season

Thomas says, "Mom, if it is so cold that I need the bear suit, should we be out walking?"

Thomas is 2 months old!

Our happy baby boy is now 2-months-old weighing 13 lbs 14 oz and 24 inches long. That still puts him in the 90-95th percentiles for height and weight. Yes, a big boy. We get lots of charming smiles and he is starting to chatter and coo.

Bookworm

Avery loves, loves, loves her books. Every night she wants to read Amelia Bedelia, given to her by her late great grandma Passé. She knows every word and will correct you if you miss anything. Sometimes she sneaks books into her bed and we find her like this.

New family member

We welcomed Calvin this week and everyone is adjusting nicely. Avery has known Calvin since he was just a little kitten at Gramie Jen's house and they are a great pair. Skeeter and Jack are just thankful it isn't another baby :)

Thomas earned his wings

We took a trip back East to attend cousin Kelly and Rob's wedding. Thomas was a great traveler and enjoyed meeting his cousin Aria who is just six weeks older.

Avery's first haircut

It took a long time before Avery could wear pigtails and now at 3 years and 3 months she got her first haircut! Just two inches, but she was still thrilled to show off her big girl haircut.

A lesson in metamorphosis

After having a little caterpillar for two weeks from Grammie Jen and Grampa Greg, Avery woke up to an amazing sight! The cocoon she has been checking on daily was no more and a beautiful butterfly was in its place.
